Your Polesworth Labour Councillors are asking for your support in their campaign in get double yellow lines on Bridge Street in Polesworth.
Parking on the Bridge in Polesworth causes long traffic delays in all directions and often creates dangerous situations, particular when buses try to pass over the Bridge.
Your Labour County Councillor, Dave Parsons has worked hard to get the County Council to agree a scheme that would see double yellow lines on the Bridge and traffic lights at the square but this will take a couple of years to come to fruition.
Labour Councillors now want the County Council to split the project into two parts. We need double yellow lines as soon as possible and then we can wait for traffic lights. Double yellows would help make the road safer and as well as reducing air pollution in the centre of the village.
Please sign our petition below so we can present this to the County Council urging them to take action:
We the undersigned request that Warwickshire County Council install double yellow lines on the Bridge on Bridge Street in Polesworth.
