Warwickshire County Council are to make progress on improving residents parking in Frances Crescent following intervention byLabour County Councillors, Richard Chattaway and Sara Doughty.

The road has had long standing parking issues but falls outside the County Council’s criteria for a residents parking scheme due to the number of private drives in the area.

Councillor’s Chattaway and Doughty said;

“We're pleased the County Council will now investigate other options to improve parking in Frances Crescent. It’s something we  have been working on for a number of years so its pleasing to finally make some progress.

Improving parking for residents might seem small in the grand scheme of things but it is vitally important as it has an impact on the everyday lives of our residents and if the system doesn’t work, it can be extremely frustrating and annoying for local people. I’ll continue to push for improvements and will work with residents to ensure this happens.”
