Coleshill Morrison’s plan not in the best interests of local people

A plan by Morrison’s to extend their delivery hours has been condemned by local Borough Councillor, Dom Ferro.

Morrison’s have submitted a planning application to extend their delivery hours so that deliveries can be made to the store between 5am and 11pm 7 days a week.

Councillor Dom Ferro said “This is a bit of a kick in the teeth for local residents who fought hard to limit delivery times when the store was first built. There is a very good reason that the Council restricted delivery times a couple of years ago, because the store is right in the middle of a residential area. That has not changed and the disruption that this proposal would cause to local people is not acceptable. I’ll be fighting against these proposals.

I’d urge local residents to submit their objections to the Borough Council and to contact me with any concerns they might have.”
